Set sail aboard this benefit cruise for The JWF Musician Health & Services Program. Guitarist Sonny Hess and Northwest Women in Rhythm & Blues present a stellar lineup of blues women, including Portland’s powerful Rae Gordon and Lisa Mann, and Arkansas powerhouse Ms. Vee and San Francisco vocalist Lara Price. They’ll be joined on the upper deck by vocalist/guitar virtuosos Mary Flower & Adam Scramstad, and on the lower level stage by Washington, DC’s “Queen of the Blues,” Carly Harvey.

Bayou blues cruise

CJ Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band • Delgres • The Bayou Boyz with Lloyd Jones
Join Mysti Krewe of Nimbus and Cascade Zydeco on the Bayou Blues Cruise, rockin’ to the grooves of Gulf Coast zydeco, R&B, roots-rock and funk. Zydeco legend CJ Chenier and his Red Hot Louisiana Band rev up the dance floor on the middle deck. The gritty French Caribbean blues group Delgres hold court on the upper deck, while on the lower deck Portland’s The Bayou Boyz host guitarist Lloyd Jones.

The Nth Power • Johnny Rawls with Ben Rice Band • RJ Mischo & Franck Goldwasser
New Orleans funk/soul power trio The Nth Power revs up the middle deck, with Southern soul-blues legend Johnny Rawls getting down with The Ben Rice Band below. On the upper deck, Arkansas harmonica ace RJ Mischo teams up with Franck “Paris Slim” Goldwasser for a set of acoustic blues.
