Kick off the festival weekend with the Silent Partners (legendary sidemen who’ve backed blues legends- BB King, Robert Cray and Etta James) and Galactic front-woman and former Tank & The Bangas vocalist, Anjelika Jelly Joseph; the groundbreaking Memphis-Clarksdale duo Memphissippi Sounds; and San Francisco Bay Area’s sultry soul-blues vocalist Marina Crouse, backed by the Ben Rice Band.

Portland’s all-star funk/soul collective, Outer Orbit, fronted by vocalist Sarah Clarke (Dirty Revival, Con Brio), hosts R&B guitar legend “Jubu” Smith, whose riffs have backed everyone from Whitney Houston to Luther Vandross. On the upper deck, the groove drifts to the delta as acoustic guitar virtuoso Mary Flower teams up with harmonica ace Kim Field. More to be announced.
