Born and raised in Portland, OR, Lilla is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, bandleader and producer. Her music has charted on Billboard in the US and the top 10 in the UK. 

She brings a new spin and vibrant combination of soul, blues, jazz, funk and storytelling. Lilla’s most recent self-produced EP, Soul Love, fuses rich songwriting, deep grooves, tasty horn lines and soulful vocals.  

Lilla has performed and worked with artists such as Annie Lenox, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Trombone Shorty, Esperanza Spaulding and more. At the age of six, she taught herself to play the piano by ear. Her music has taken her all over the world, from Kingston, Jamaica to Beijing, China. Lilla strives to create music that uplifts, empowers, reflects current social issues and connects through song.
