The Journey to Memphis Allstars bring together standout regional artists who’ve proudly represented the Pacific Northwest at past International Blues Competitions. The lineup includes vocalist Rae Gordon (third-place finisher); Ben Rice (finalist and Albert King Award winner for guitar); Seattle guitarist and Washington Blues Society Hall of Famer CD Woodbury; and Portland saxophonist and bandleader Fenix Sanders.

Also featured are Seattle harmonica ace Joel Astley (a two-dozen-time Washington Blues Society “Best of the Blues” award recipient), bassist and bandleader Polly O’Keary, drummer Dave Melyan, keyboardist Pat McDougal, vocalist Malcomb Monaghan of United By Music, and bassist—and ringleader—Timmer Blakely.

The Journey to Memphis Allstars will perform on the Cruisin’ to Memphis Blues Cruise on Friday, July 3.
