Jersey Soul features popular Portland guitarist Kenny Lavitz and the soulful vocals of New York’s Judy Tint. 

Singer (and music lawyer) Judy Tint is a frequent visitor to Portland. She has performed with numerous R&B greats, as well as fronting her own East Coast outfit, “Jude and the Dudes.” She brings a mix of bluesy covers and select originals, along with a mean tambourine. 

Kenny Lavitz, raised on the Jersey Shore, now calls Portland home. He performs as a solo artist and with his band, the Kenny Lavitz Kombo, deftly navigating between jazz, rock and blues to create a distinctive sound that’s entirely his own. In the words of the late, great Paul deLay, “This guy is about 400 kinds of funky.”
