“Blues on Steroids” is what GeminiiDRAGON terms her ferocious mix of blues, rock, and soul emanating from the murky bayous of Louisiana. A vocal dynamo and fresh face to the blues music scene, GeminiiDRAGON has channeled her love for late ‘60s and ‘70s grooves into a modern blend of traditional and contemporary blues.

With three album releases in as many years — Fighting Fire with Fire (2022 debut), Equinox (2023), and 3 (February 2024) — GeminiiDRAGON is establishing her brand as a “fiery banshee from way down in Louisiana” (Rock the Joint Magazine) while seriously pumping up the Blues scene. GeminiDragon started out singing gospel in the church and says of growing up, “Music was always around. My mother’s family were all very musical.” She counts among her many and varied influences artists like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Janis Joplin and Koko Taylor.

GeminiiDRAGON concludes: “I believe that in using music to spread love, create, incite love…we are doing what we were put here to do. Because love is the key. It’s the only thing that can heal and awaken this sleeping world we are living in.”
