Lo Steele

Day 01

Front Porch Stage

2:50 PM

Lo Steele is a singer, songwriter, and award-winning actor from Portland. Named one of Willamette Week’s “Best New Bands” of 2022, she aspires to make art that “makes you feel seen.”

Lo recently released two new singles, titled “Nighttime Friends” and “Give Yourself Grace,” and began working on a full-length album of original music with the local label People Music, set to release this spring. You may have recently seen her performing at venues like The Aladdin Theatre, Mississippi Studios, Doug Fir Lounge and 1905, or at Portland Center Stage or Portland Playhouse in theatre productions such as Tick… Tick… Boom! and What I Learned in Paris.

As the daughter of Portland’s “First Lady of the Blues” LaRhonda Steele, Lo has attended the Waterfront Blues Festival for over 20 years and is grateful to return this year with her own band!
