Delta Music Experience
Duties: Volunteers welcome people to the French Quarter Market, hand out complimentary brochures, and show off beads, boas and art. This is the place to see nonstop entertainment on the A&E stage from your post, be surrounded by great food and lots of activities in a happy environment.

Qualifications:
- Age 16+
- Ability to interact with the public respectfully and with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods or entire shift
- Ability to handle loud noises and large crowds
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in summer temperatures
- Must be able to commit to entire length of shift


Flex Shift
Duties: Help out wherever the need is greatest! Possible assignments include working at a gate, helping with the Green Team, or assisting in the merchandise booth.

Qualifications:
- Age 16+
- Willingness to be assigned to any volunteer position as needed
- Ability to interact with the public respectfully and with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods or entire shift
- Ability to handle loud noises and large crowds
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in summer temperatures
- Must be able to commit to entire length of shift


Gate Volunteers - Hawthorne, Main, Ramp, South
Duties: Gate Volunteers welcome the public to the Waterfront Blues Festival. They help collect cans, pack boxes, hand out programs and encourage patrons to donate to Oregon Food Bank.

Qualifications:
- Age 16+
- Ability to interact with the public respectfully and with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods or entire shift
- Ability to handle loud noises and large crowds
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in summer temperatures
- Must be able to commit to entire length of shift


Green Team
Duties:
Green Team volunteers work to keep the Waterfront Blues Festival sustainable. The Festival uses 100% compostable beer cups and all festival food vendors have on-site access to composting bins for their food waste. However, we need volunteers to make this a success! Volunteers will monitor composting stations to ensure that festival goers put the right things in the right bins.

Qualifications:
- Age 16+
- Willingness to be hands-on, get dirty and promote composting
- Ability to squat, bend, and lift 30 pounds
- Ability to interact with the public respectfully and with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods or entire shift
- Ability to handle loud noises and large crowds
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in summer temperatures
- Must be able to commit to entire length of shift


Merchandise Tent
Duties: Merchandise tent volunteers provide customer service to help festival goers purchase T-shirts, sweat shirts, hats and more by assisting customers, monitoring the flow of customers, restocking and organizing merchandise. Proceeds from the sale of items in the Merchandise Tent support Oregon Food Bank's mission to eliminate hunger and its root causes.

Qualifications:
- Age 18+
- Customer service or retail experience preferred
- Ability to interact with the public respectfully and with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods or entire shift
- Ability to handle loud noises and large crowds
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in summer temperatures
- Must be able to commit to entire length of shift


Merchandise Tent: Set-Up
Duties:
Volunteers help Oregon Food Bank staff set-up and stock the merchandise tent the day before the festival. Proceeds from the sale of items in the Merchandise Tent support Oregon Food Bank's mission to eliminate hunger and its root causes.

Qualifications:
- Age 16+
- Ability to interact with the public respectfully and with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods or entire shift
- Ability to handle loud noises and large crowds
- Ability to work in outdoor environment in summer temperatures
